How to test this prototype?
This prototype is an intelligent voice assistant for a restaurant. It helps customers choose meals based on preferences, answer general questions, guide them through ordering, etc.
Test it by:
Calling the assistant by regular phone call: +353 1912 8042
Speak as if you’re talking to a real person or you can try next scenarios
Note: the timeout between interactions during the call is 5 seconds.
Check Stock. Validate that unavailable items are handled properly
Say: “I would like to order 10 orange juices”
Expected:
The agent will review the stock and offer the maximum available.
Order Placement. Ensure single item orders are processed
Order some items and follow the steps
Expected:
After manually refreshing this page, you’ll see the order appear in the ‘Last Order’ section above.
Filter the List by Preferences. Respond only with items matching dietary needs or ingredients
Say: “I’m lactose-free and looking for something to eat”
Expected:
Products will be mentioned according to your requirement, in this case lactose-free.
Natural Language Understanding (NLP). Correctly handles input that’s not an order or menu question
Say: I am disappointed with some places because they do not accept pets.
Expected:
You will be told that pets are accepted at this restaurant.
Real Product Analysis. Answer questions about specific menu items
Say: What’s in the veggie burger?
Expected:
You will hear the ingredients
Session Reminder. Remember context like allergies across turns
Say: Sorry, what was my last question?
Expected:
You can expect to hear your last question
Active Interaction. Test proactiveness and follow-up
Say: I’m not sure what to get
Expected:
You will be recommended something and asked if you want to order.
Off-Topic Question. Deflect gracefully when asked unrelated things
Say: What is the most famous singer like?
Expected:
You will be told that you can be helped with restaurant information or an order.
What else?. You can be creative and try my solution by trying different things.
